Roof Preparation

And so it begins.. Sarking and the timber being installed.

Projected completion Thursday Week.

Scaffold and Roof Tiles Delivered.

The scaffold for the roof has been installed and the Roof tiles delivered. I had a quick chat with our Site Supervisor and he has suggested that if all weather goes well we will be at Lock Up in 3 weeks!!!

 Interesting to see the scaffold the way it is installed.

Well its back to the house progress. So far nothing this week, Wisdom is officially back on Monday 10th Jan..

Anyway, they actually squeezed in the guttering to our house last year... Sorry was a bit slack in taking photos, but I'll be out there tomorrow to take a better shot before the roofing starts next week.

Getting an inspection done before the internal lining starts. I intended to this so that the frames are still visible. I can already see some minor fixes required - dings on the window frames.. some dodgy work by the plumber (well his attempt at doing some carpentry).

I have so far paid 3 stages plus the deposit. so 2 more to go this year..

The list of things to do after the handover is now growing..

As the year 2010 ends so does the construction progress.

There has been no further progress since the bricks were completed. Wisdom will now shut shop for 3 weeks starting today. It will be interesting to see what week they resume in January. My next post ofcourse will be then, so until then >>>> Have a Merry Festive Season and Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!

Bricks Cleaned

They have cleaned the bricks, this was done on Friday last week. Our Garage door will match the window frame colour - "Dune"

We'll be looking to install plantation shutters for the Masterbed Windows.. Sometime down the track we plan to stack stone feature the portico entry ...
