House is at Lockup - Thursday 17/02/2011

The house is now at lockup.. Architraves started and almost completed - they had a few muff ups with the order.. delivered 5 wrong internal doors.. and missing the robe doors, 6 doors that is. The garage door also the wrong one but we ended up keeping cause I liked it and it grew on the Mrs

Yard cleaned up gearing up for the next stages, photo taken today. You can see the rubbish in the second pic.

I drove past the house on Saturday and they were there finishing the plastering. I spoke to one of the guys and asked if they were doing the cornices soon. He said that they don't do that... Interesting. Apparently another person does that job..

Insulation was completed last week

Its moving along.. I had the inspection follow-up an dall that needed fixing that affects the internal lining has been fixed. still a list to follow up on.. nevertheless here are the insulation photos.

overall the guy did a good job insulation.. although he didn't complete the roof.. He said that he will do the corners and the rest is done later.. so I will have to add that to the list of checks.
