This was an abandoned project from nov 2008 when our land value didn't pan out. We had paid $$$ to get to just before the 5% deposit when we bailed. Here we are 1 1/2 years later going ahead with the project. Mind you it was hard to swallow how much the the price has gone up!!!!
We are a knockdown rebuild project so we have had a few headaches to get to where we are today which is waiting on the builder to get on the land and move some dirt to start the process.
I hope to share our experience with the knockdown rebuild process so as others can better prepare for what is at hand with the demolition of an existing dwelling and ofcourse the construction of our new home.
